Spidermite

As of last week it started to rain, finally, so I’m back!
I went out today and found this Tetranychus species of spider mite, complete with webbing, which you can just make out in the background. A stunningly beautiful colour. I can still take photos, which is a relief.

Dispensaries are selling bacteria, mold, and spidermite weed
Some of the local weed men are using fentanyl, growing your own is the safest

This is how spider mites mate! The male is usually smaller and more elongated than the female. This allows the male to fold its whole idiosoma in half in order to reach its aedeagus to the females genital orifice.

Well. I have sprayed all my house plants in a homemade spidermite spray (water, rubbing alcohol, dish soap) and have rubbed down the leaves on a few.

... and also dusted the hard-to-reach areas behind my plants.

... and am now going to try to go for a walk and not die. 😋🙃

The sun hasn't set yet!

The Lemon Butter Breath is coming up on a wrap soon. Maybe a week or two, tops. Beautiful pink fade at the top. She had some spidermite worries, but we handled it without issue.

5 oz's, 1 plant dried and in the jar, not bad. Remember friends, it's quality over quantity. I know my stuff hasn't seen spidermite webs or pesticides😅💚✌️ #cannabis #homegrown #organic #maryjane #houseplants #Caliconnection #greencrack #growyourown

Two very special #passiflora today.
P. ‘Marijke’ is a hybrid of P. x decaisneana and P. caerulea which unusually for this kind of cross retains the red petal/sepal colour (and scent)
P. ‘Michael’ is a rare healthy cross of the scarlet P. vitifolia with P. caerulea.

Interesting development of Growing my own Meds. I now have nightmares of opening up the greenhouse to find Spidermite infestation with like 10-14 days till harvest.

Spiiidermites! *shakes fist at the sky* (in my best J. Jonah Jameson impression) 🌱

(Also no worries, I know Alocasias are prone & it is getting treated accordingly)

Even though these 4 companies have issues like killing their employee from bacteria and mold in their grow op, works with putin and Russia, sells bacteria, finger nail, hair, spidermite, moldy weed, grand father was Jim Beam, and Aspergillus packs thank you for opening the flood gates for me.

First dibs on contracts once reefer becomes federally legal, post office won't "steal" their packages through interstate commerce, make sure all their bacteria, human hair, fingernails, mold, spidermite, and radiation weed would be sold in dispensaries

A brief moment to appreciate how bushy my Verrucosum is looking at the moment, it never quite regained it's gigantic leaves after it was brutally chopped and half dead, but it's generally way healthier and has been spidermite free for 2 years now

Just saying that has probably conjured some tho

Tent is looking real good! NightOwl ladies (left side) are getting super frosty. The LBB (right) is bulking well, too. Have had some spidermite issues, but I've been on top of it with capn jack deadbug and manually checking leaves/buds.

Oh gosh, is that spidermite webbing on that plant on the table? :'D

This is honestly brilliant haha. Currently going through that struggle with my own plants (but with thrips rather than spider mites)

Holy CRAP came home yesterday and saw (what I thought) was a tiny spider making a home on my Elephant Ear plant. Moved him outside & then saw little webs with white dots between all the leaves. IT WAS A SPIDERMITE! Acted fast & hopefully stopped an infestation before it took & killed my plant 🤞

Congratulations. Had a few on the greenhouse ones early on then spidermite invasion almost killed the plants so not had any for a few weeks. Managed to save them with neem oil so first recovered one ready today. Phew!

My small plum tree seems to have survived a spidermite infestation and treatment last summer and then neglect all winter. How should I best take care of it going forwards? It's on a balcony in a large flower pot. #GardenSky

found a cobweb looking deal on the very ends of a Fan leaf on Aurora. Doesnt look like spidermite webs that Im see online, ive seen NO other signs of Spidermites and I check daily, but im going to cry if this crop gets ruined like 2 weeks from harvest. Removed the leave just incase. hopefully fine.
