Some spiritual statements may seem to logically contradict each other, but they all can actually be true.

Some spiritual statements may seem to logically contradict each other, but they all can actually be true. During my 12-year spiritual healing journey, I’ve come to realize that they’re simply applicable to me at different periods of time and at various stages of my healing journey. For example, admitting that “a certain individual’s energy has a negative effect on me” seems to contradict the belief that “I stand in my power and am completely free from any external influence.” However, I’ve found that acknowledging the effects of others allows me to cut undesirable influences from my life, which in turn helps me maintain my energy more effectively. Later, the second statement becomes more valid for me, and it empowers me.

This #cordcutting technique was inspired by the book The Fire From Within written by Dr. #CarlosCastaneda. His series of books talk about his experience being trained by the Yaqui shaman Don #JuanMatus.

A Tip for Cutting Cords: When you want to cut the energy cords between you and someone, instead of simply setting the intention of cutting the cords between you and them, it's more efficient to set the intention to detach and remove their cords that are attached to you and withdraw your cords that are attached to them.

I originally heard this concept; "what you think of me is none of my business" in a lecture by Wayne Dyer almost 20 years ago.

It stuck with me. I pondered on it deeply and began to truly understand how I am the only one who has the power to define me.
