The springhare is the only known Old World placental mammal that exhibits biofluorescence. Their shaggy coats shift UV light into visible colors with dramatic effects visible to eyes tuned to these wavelengths.

I was talking in my twitter about changing jumpy, my oc species (jerboa to a springhare) but I just decided to him being both just changing his tail a bit but still the same design

The reason is because the springhare and the jerboa are so goofy aah for me

Managed to finish my new sona design JUST in time for the end of Pride Month and the start of Art Fight! They're a springhare!

This is my fourth one in the past 6 years... I think at this point I might need to embrace having multiple ^^; But I'm very happy with this for my new main one!
A reference sheet showing various drawings of my sona, "Heffyhare", a pink and fluffy springhare (a rodent resembling a mixture of rabbit, squirrel, and kangaroo). They wear big thick-rimmed glasses and a daffodil in their hair, and are drawn in a couple of outfits, including a poofy white turtleneck sweater with a long blue plaid skirt, and a blue-and-white striped top underneath heart-patterned overalls. They have a very mousey nerd sort of look about them.
