One of the EXPERT mode challenges is to defeat Spyborg before Slippy is downed.
That's like normal behaviour. This feels insulting after I spent hours going through Aquas without getting hit once.

An interesting detail is that if you defeat Spyborg right away, you don't get the choice to go to Titania. Pepper doesn't even bring it up.
Put simply, the planet is so dangerous that not even Andross was able to claim it. With Slippy not down there, there's basically no reason to go.

I feel we dont really need much more of an explanation beyond him uploading his brain into a computer so he can create new bodies out of machine and bio-mass for himself (ive seen a theory that spyborg might have been a prototype for his final form and tahts why its sentient, which was pretty cool)
