Preview for Part 4 - The Necromancers

Full fic + art by @motolokiev.bsky.social will be posted on tumblr tomorrow! 💀❣️
Once upon a time, when Leviathan yet lived and the oracles in Kaon died for their shanix, PRIMA blessed mechs with magic. By the will of Primus and Mortilus did two such mechs meet and fall in love... Digital story cover illustration by moto/bunclebee. Title The Necromancers, by AltraViolet, Art by Moto. Against a dark, slightly starry sky, a white/pastel Mirage, with closed eyes, leans back. His digital coloring gives almost the feeling of a marble carved statue. Mirage holds a knife made of a dark material studded with many stars. Skywarp stands behind/over him, holding him, made of the same dark, starry material. The effect is of Mirage as a living mech and Skywarp as something not alive... perhaps celestial? The mood is calm and the major colors are black, purple, and white.

I read this article very carefully, and even after finishing it, I still felt a long-lasting sense of being moved and shaken—I cried over it... Thank you so much to you and MOTO for collaborating and bringing us such an excellent SpyWarp work! !

Spywarpoween fics will be grouped together in a series! Here's a lil more info. I'll update this as we go :) Next fic in 3 days!
Spywarpoween series screenshot: Creator: AltraViolet Series Begun: 2026-10-03 Series Updated: 2026-10-03 Description: Welcome to Spywarpoween! A collection of gently spooky stories featuring spywarp- Mirage/Skywarp. Each fic explores a different fear. Fics range from sweet to spicy! The fics exist within their own AUs, usually informed by the culture and worldbuilding in my fanmade Ferrymech AU. Enjoy! 🎃💙💜🎃 Notes: Fics will be added every Saturday of the month of October 2026. As of now, there are 3 finished and a 4th being worked on. The very last Saturday of the month, however, might just belong to another rarepair of mine... 👀 ✅ Oct 3 Next: Oct 10! 🎃🔮💙💜🔮🎃

Welcome to Spywarpoween! A month of gently spooky spywarp fics! With beautiful art by @motolokiev.bsky.social, thank you so much!

Today's fic: The Aura Reader 🔮

archiveofourown.org/works/93850211
Title art made by motolokiev/bunclebee. “The Aura Reader” in a fancy font with a few sparkles on the letters, colored blue with gentle metallic highlights. The border is divided roughly in half: the left and lower parts are filled with sandy textured swirly shapes, and playing among the swirls are tiny alt modes of a plane, a boat, and a car (Mirage's alt mode). There are also flowers and a Transformation cog. Mirage sits on a swirl shape in the lower left corner, smiling up at Skywarp. The top and right side of the border is filled with swirly metal art nouveau designs that contain a brain module, chains, a little Skywarp plane alt, a lantern, and a dagger. Skywarp sits in the top right corner of the border, legs dangling down. The overall affect is reminiscent of fairy tales, but metallic.

我很难过，也不理解，为什么在中国那么多人讨厌spywarp。
他们更喜欢其他的东西所以讨厌好吧，合理，但是那种喜欢的东西被讨厌的感觉还是太让人难过了。

#spywarp / skywarp-vampire / skywarpire doodles answering the questions
1) how would one drape their wings if they were also a vampire cape?
2) how would the wings/cape transform to do so?
3) what is the first thing Mirage wakes up to?
A terribly drawn stick figure short comic. Part one: a blue stick figure, Mirage, reclines, dramatically with one hand at his forehead, saying "Alas I am injured." A purple stick figure, Skywarp, looks on in shock from the background. Part two: Skywarp has softly draped his wings over Mirage and grabs his head and has kissy lips. Mirage smiles with happy closed eyes. The cape is labeled "cape" because the art style is so bad, one might mistake it for literally anything. 3 part stick figure thing. Purple stick figure Skywarp stands with his wings. With a rumble, the wings grow huge! They wrap around him, who is now holding Mirage. XOXO on the side. A very crappily drawn Skywarp with vampire teeth doing seductive eyes, looking directly at viewer, his hands together under his chin. "Skywarpire" written at the top.

Pt. 9 Of the Valentines Designs- Spywarp! Skywarp likes to get on Mirage's nerves, and Mirage pretends to hate it, though they both enjoy antagonizing the other a little ❤️ #spywarp #mirage #skywarp #maccadam

this is now a thread of spywarp fic AUs

necromancy AU. Primus isn't happy Mirage raises Skywarp so he comes back Wrong, but the kinda wrong where instead of being a strong warrior he's a pranky doof. Warping ability goes inside-out. Still trying to figure out what that means
Goal: post by halloween

spywarp fic where Mirage is a fortune teller. Skywarp goes to him as a joke to get his palms read. Mirage tells him things so true, Skywarp falls for him immediately. Mirage doesn't want him until much later

Worldbuilding detail: Mirage isn't faking it, he can glean memory/emotion info thru fields

Speaking of the SpyWarp dynamic another amazing longfic which explores that further is Face The Light also by AV!!! It's by far the best longfic dedicated to the duo and I loved it before I even really got into the ship!!
