Well, foo. Primary Computer slowed, WTFery ensued. Saw that the SRbase/Asteroid Light Curve background regimen had shifted exclusively to the former. Set BOINC to compute only after 32 minutes of inactivity. And I've already discovered a prime number... Hmmm...

Shifted from Einstein@Home, which is basically a scanner, to SRBase, which is computationally complex. Theseus runs BOINC after three minutes of inactivity, and really goes to after fifteen minutes (in anticipation of which I turn the mouse off). Let's see how this set-up works!

Giving all that jazz a rest, I was experiencing technical difficulties. I ramped BOINC/SRbase down to 50% of the CPU's at 50% for the summer; Theseus 3 is running much cooler. The latter had no bearing on the former as far as I could tell.

Folding@Home has for whatever reason not given me any work for quite a while, and Rosetta@Home is still moribund... Hmmm... Decided to ditch SRBase, having already discovered a new prime number, and run SiDock 100%, which includes protein folding. Russian Academy of Sciences, eh.

Secondary liked neither the 1T SSD nor Gravitational Waves. Finally installed Peppermint OS & SRBase on the yellow 128G thumb drive, which now has a Natsuki fob, she of Doki Doki Literature Club, because it gave me so much trouble. If I discover another prime I'll let you know.

Hurrm. Given that Folding@Home runs on my GPU and SRBase on the CPU (molecular biology vis-à-number theory), I need to figure out what choke point is freezing up Theseus 3. The solution might be as simple as smaller caches of work, or even scheduling (overnight instead of /in media res/).

Bright idea occurs: See if not running boincmgr forestalls orphaned inodes. It's an annoyance which happens every few weeks, not the bane of my existence, and I can see the SRBase number crunching on btop to begin with, so let the tasks run in the background, unseen but not unappreciated.

I have found stdoutdae.txt! I can crunch the numbers, see when Primary Computer when crunches BOINC SRBase numbers and when it does not.

Inasmuch since Secondary is chomping away nicely at SRBase I've decided to let that search conclude on Primary which'll just handle Einstein@Home from now on... If this is Unhealthy I don't want to see what Hazardous is like... Time to meet that sympathizer...
