First image with the Cat91 from Starfront Observatories, and a target I've wanted to go after for a while now, this is Sh2 308, aka the Dolphin Head nebula. It is a bubble-like nebula surrounding a Wolf-Rayet star.

Another one from Starfront Observatories, and my last image with the RedCat51 + 533MM combo, this is the Jellyfish Nebula. The Jellyfish is an interesting case of a supernova remnant interacting with surrounding molecular clouds, giving it it's unique shape.

Another one from Starfront Remote Observatories, a widefield shot of Messier 81 and Messier 82, aka Bode's and Cigar Galaxies. Gravitational interaction between M81 and M82 gives M82 its unique look.
The dust around them is what's known as IFN, or Integrated Flux Nebulae.

Another one from Starfront Remote Observatories, this is Sh2-129 and OU4, aka the Flying Bat and Squid Nebulae.
A very difficult target as the Oiii signal from the Squid is extremely faint.
Just under 60hrs total, with almost 40hrs of that on just Oiii

Last night during our Seestar Star Party with Starfront Observatories, someone mentioned there's a bright supernova in NGC 7331. On a whim, I tried to image it with the 30mm Seestar. It worked! The dot right next to the nucleus, down and to the left, is a supernova!

The main object in this image, Sh2-284, is interesting object that reminds me of another Sharpless object, the Lion Nebula, with its distinctive separation between an Oiii heavy region and an Ha heavy region

Exact same astrophotography gear. Two different locations. The first image is from my light-polluted backyard. The second is from StarFront Observatories under skies with virtually no light pollution. It makes that much of a difference. #astrophotography #astronomy #photography #space #galaxy
