It's probably a stress response to everything but I'm not even fighting a bout of startitis. Printed knitting patterns, raided stash, looking for needles, casting on when insomnia hits. 7 new projects on the needles since Sunday, in addition to the 10+ in active rotation - I'm not bored! 🧶 #knitting

Startitis has struck! Just finished the sweater pattern I am editing, and cast on..
Here’s the ribbed sleeve for my youngest’s SO. This merino wool yarn takes a trip through the washer with no visible effects and is wearing like iron. Soft against the skin…a joy to knit with.🧶

Having one of those days? I highly recommend casting on a Musselburgh hat. Play with yarn and colour and just breathe. I'm using Canon Hand Dyes John merino from an Advent calendar from at least 6 years ago so, even though startitis got me, I'm knitting old stash. 🧶 www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

I’ve recently finished 2 knitting projects, and now I have a terrible case of startitis combined with decision paralysis. So in the meantime, I’m resuming work I. A sweater that’s been hibernating for a few years. 🧶

Experiencing #knitting project startitis, wherein I search/browse innumerable patterns, bookmark (analog &digital) lots, fret, peruse still more patterns, rummage thru all my #yarn (to remind myself), select several as "the one," have a snack, fret, try to do the math, pick up a WIP instead. 🙄 🧶

By my calculations, this cashmere laceweight sweater has >53K stitches up to the armholes. Currently unmotivated to #knit more in it, but want the sweater. Am petting the swatch every few rows, gorgeous yarn 🧶. Still unmotivated even tho cold weather has arrived. Startitis lurks. . .

...scratched my knitting "startitis" itch by matching yarns and patterns for several more shawls and a cardigan. It's been a couple of years since I've been able to concentrate on creative endeavors like that. I didn't realize the impact of nagging constant pain on my ability to relax and play.
