no mathematical method can find even an infinite number of discrete points in a continuous space, especially given any amount of error (and the Bayes error of intelligence is nonzero for not even quantum mechanical but statmech reasons.)

Folks, I'm feeling good today, because I had the chance to talk about a really fun piece of physics in my graduate StatMech course. We derived the exact grand potential for ideal quantum gases! The rigidity of matter, Bose Einstein condensation, white dwarfs—it's all here. Behold and be awed!
