Beautiful recordings and artwork , this album is absolutely gorgeous , Mathieu doesn't touch the Derek Bailey tracks , but runs some of Sylvian and Fennesz's parts through software treatments .

Charles Curtis’s new album of LaMonte Young’s adaptation of Terry Jennings’ “Piece For Cello And Saxophone” is one of the deepest, most rewarding minimalist drone-works I’ve ever heard. (Superb @stephanmathieu mastering, too.) Highest recommendation. Get it from @salternimprint.

The first great archival music release of 2023, via @falsewalls37: a 3.5 hour retrospective of unreleased music from @andrewpoppy1 with impeccable mastering by @stephanmathieu and 128 pages of notes & texts from Paul Morley, @LeahKardos and others....

Excited to hear of @stephanmathieu upcoming vinyl re-release of A Static Place. So spending the morning listening to the digital version.
