”And not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you off your cloud
But I'm more than just a little curious
How you're planning to go about making your amends
To the dead”

Not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you off your cloud
But I'm more than just a little curious
How you're planning to go about making your amends
To the dead
Recall the deeds as if they're all
Someone else's atrocious stories
Now you stand reborn before us all

“Step Song” from Terri Lyne Carrington’s Trip the Night Fantastic. It’s a conversation about community, purpose, and the power of moving forward together, one step at a time, even when the path calls for courage instead of comfort.

Day 16

A song with amazing drums in it.
Wo fang ich an…..?
Ich nehme mal The Noose von A perfect circle, Drummer ist der fantastische Josh Freeze, jetzt bei den Foo Fighters.
Ab 1:53 beginnt die Magie, so energetisch und filigran zugleich. 😍
