I feel like this is similar to giving an artist a stick figure doodle for reference - nobody thinks it helps but it's one of the best things you can do. (Granted, I wouldn't give them 90 PAGES worth of stickmen, but...)

Voices of the Void is good as fuck actually. All the cozy fluffy chores lull you into a false sense of security when the aliens invade with their stickmen and something from space sends you a photo of your porch.
I did however neglect the oven with nothing in it for an hour so thats enough for now.

I was on the other end of the DM, and yeah: I have no reason to believe that others hadn't done it sporadically but the modern culture of it has its trunk in 1977, just like how people have been drawing stickmen since there was anything to draw them on but xkcd is part of a finite lineage
