#StinsonBeach in foggy sunlight. The offshore #MarineLayer is a near ever-present cloud bank that lingers miles out to sea. Often, the marine layer will make landfall. This is the Bay Area's natural air conditioning, helping with out mild climate.

I took this picture on the #PanoramicHighway above #StinsonBeach, California. The #MarineLayer was coming in from the Pacific Ocean and I was mostly above the #clouds. This location is about 500 meters above sea level.

More #roadside #Americana. This is in the sleepy coastal town of #bolinas, just north of #StinsonBeach. Some Hollywood stars own houses away from it all up here and the town folks like being secluded and prefer visitors in moderation.

The picture on the left was shot on #Highway1 going southeast toward #StinsonBeach. You are looking at the #BolinasLagoon. The picture on the right was shot above Stinson Beach looking southeast toward #SanFrancisco which can be seen roughly 20 km away in the distance.

I saw this #HeavyLogisticsVegicleWheeled or #HLVM on #Highway1 a little north of #StinsonBeach. This once #Canadian #military truck has been converted into a #camper or #expedition vehicle. This particular vehicle has been also spotted on Vancouver Island by someone else.
