The gang gathered a warband and headed north to meet with their allies in Barrier Pass before climbing the mountains in search of cultists. On the way, they couldn't help but butt in on the nature doc in front of them and save an auroch herd, take out a shellback drake, and harvest its shell.

I've been gripped by the urge to play stonetop recently but it strongly suggests minimum 13 sessions and I don't know if I can commit to a thing for that long right now. Also the rules are one william pages long

that said if youre already having a good time with DnD idk if the net benefit will outweigh just running DnD in the world of stonetop (which is very cool and well written and simultaneously whimsical and very serious in the way many fairy tales are)

I've heard good things about Stonetop. Is it as good as people say? Is it easy to learn? Would it work for a 10 year old with AuDHD or should we stick to DnD 5e at family games night? (I'm guessing yes, a bit and no to those questions.)

Session #13 of Stonetop tonight! It's mostly going to be a downtime/time jump session as we progress to midsummer and the group preps to head back north to join a force of militant monks in assaulting a cult stronghold in the mountains.

stonetop really was my last big swing to make something work and it didn't and I was just like aight im out. I wasn't doing what I was interested in doing anymore and the headache of keeping it going was worse than whatever I was getting out of it
