Loved making this large ceramic snail /slug pot. Black stoneware coiled and handbuilt. Feel like it needs a title - any ideas what I could name it?

Sad day today as I put had to put my favourite tea mug to sleep after 20+ years of service. Many a happy time spent sipping countless thousands of cuppas from it in multiple homes but it was no longer responding to cleaning and it was time to go to stoneware heaven. It will be missed :(

judging by the fork, that is most decidedly a very small stoneware dish.

I hope it was adequately tasty.

As we’re going into stew and Scouse season and I got a red cabbage in my veg box I’m doing some pickled red cabbage. Just salted some shredded red cabbage and fennel and will leave for a few hours. Meanwhile I’ve simmered some fennel seeds and chilli flakes in cider vinegar water and sugar #foodsky

Four more favorites that found new homes at the show: a creamer with a tall looped handle, an angular mug in coastal glazes, a handleless teacup with a shoreline look, and a low pasta bowl with two overlapping glazes. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to take a look and chat. #handmadepottery #somd

Hi Sonja - these are my brother's tiles, actually (I just help with the donkey work loading the kiln etc). Here's his website which will answer your queries, I hope. 😀

Yes Stumpy's the same. She has a metal bowl for breakfast and a stoneware one for tea and there's absolute scenes if you mix them up. And you only have to do something twice for it to then become The Law.
