Blijft een bijzonder geval dit: de Stoosbahn in Zwitserland. De steilste funiculaire ter wereld, ofwel twee treintjes die aan een kabel een berg op worden getrokken en elkaars tegengewicht zijn. Het ontsluit t autovrije dorp Stoos, 750m boven het dal. En dat gaat met hellingspercentages tot 110%(!).
