Sanad al-Arabi resultó gravemente herido en un bombardeo en Gaza. Su rostro quedó marcado por más de 200 puntos de sutura y perdió una mano. Fue evacuado a Doha (Catar), donde recibió tratamiento médico y comenzó un proceso de recuperación increíble.
