Biked over to Biidaasige this morning to see effects of last night's storm.

Looks like the new mouth of the Don faired pretty well. The river is still swollen but from the trails I rode doesnt look like any major flooding was had here.

My third-floor deck. You can see the top foot of a pair of deck chairs; the rest is snow. Sunny, snowy look at my street. My car is 18 inches deep in snow, and there are waist-high drifts all over. A different angle on my street. The neighbours’ car is also buried in snow. A car across the street is barely visible. Different angle; my neighbours’ car is in snow over its wheel wells.

Poor little dude is more scared of the rain than I am! We both just jumped as more thunder cracked the sky😅😅

Luckily it’ll be over in 15 mins or so.

My neighbours have no clue that I saved their homes from flooding last night when the nearby intersection and streets filled with a a foot of water. I spent an hour digging leaves from four sewer drains to have them fill again within seconds. #StormTO #toronto #rainTO #flooding
