Being on Strattera is so nice actually what the fuck. I think not being fucking tired all the time is the biggest bonus I’m having legitimately

Walk to the station after taking Strattera is da hardest

I've found that Strattera works very well, albeit expensive without insurance. Also not a controlled substance, so it's pretty easy to try. Best of luck to you Ms. Burning.

Ik vraag me af of hier Strattera en bupropion ook zijn meegenomen?

Why else would Strattera cause such a reaction though, you know?

After the absolute hell I went through with Strattera, the ADHD med my doctor gave me because she didn't think I actually have ADHD, which made me extremely pissy and aggressive, I am both nervous and excited to try something else. It was terrifying, but I need help.

Appointment next Tuesday.

The psych put me back on the smallest dose of Strattera and I'm kinda terrified bc the last time I used it, it caused some of the worst muscle twitching I had ever experienced.

BUT! I can see a smaller dose possibly working after a long period of taking it without my body reacting so poorly.

Rude! Coffee never helped wake me up, but on Strattera it makes me lightheaded and gives me a mildly unpleasant high.

But maybe this sets you up to enjoy a classic Italian espresso after dinner

Not every adult with ADHD wants a stimulant. Atomoxetine (Strattera) and viloxazine (Qelbree, approved for adults in 2022) are non-stimulant options. They are not controlled substances, though they take several weeks to reach full effect. #ADHD

Sorry a drug you have to take is causing side effects. I take a drug named Amioderone, stops ventricular arrhythmia. I got headache & nausea from it. I tried a smaller dose after the build up larger dose. Shockingly, my body got used to smaller dose after 30 days. Good blessings with the Strattera.

I'm thinking of switching to Strattera, since it's not a central stimulant substance and it might help with depression.

Oh. Eine Menge. Ritalin in diversen Varianten, Strattera, Bupropion, Medikinet, Elvanse. Späte Diagnose und so. Und erst seit einem Jahr eine Ärztin, die sich wirklich auskennt. Habe noch nicht ganz aufgegeben, aber nunja 🫠

Hilft nix.

FWIW I don't get reflux with Vyvanse, but do get it with sertraline/strattera. Even though it's not advised, I take esomaprazole daily and it works wonders!

when it came to strattera i asked if there was any other adhd meds i could be on that could help me and she was like "there isnt. im not putting you on stimulants because you're not in college and strattera is the best there is".

the success rate of it is 44% to 68% btw

Was scared to take day 2 dose of Strattera bc it hits me soooo hard but I guess taking it in the evening after eating makes it kick in slower ?? Dam

exciting learning that this is a wildly common thing for all the ADHD ppl

Reddit posts that i could have written but did not.

i got a headache missing a day during the taper down and didnt realise it was connected.

But, again, I really dk. He said he doubts the twitching is connected, but when I did my research, that's the conclusion I came to.

I figured I'd find what coffee/caffeine and Strattera had in common, and it was that.

Ok the first day of Strattera where it knocked me out was a fluke. Taking it in the morning helped a looot with the fucked up sleep I was having from taking it at night. Taking it after food also helps a looooot
November 4, 2026 at 5:19 PM
I'm just terrified tbh.

Bc what I learned is that Strattera works by raising norepinephrine/noradrenaline - the exact neurotransmitter I believe is part of why my twitching is severe in the first place (bc it's already too high, hence why I can't drink coffee).

anyone gone from stimulant to non-stimulant adhd meds (vyvanse to strattera?)

vyvanse isn’t awful but tummy, sleeping, and dry mouth troubles sucked. i’m just worried going from something strong to more ‘passive’ will fuck me over >.<
