Like, I cannot stress enough, I am 'bad at people' (and also prideful and arrogant by nature), a board-certified Smart Person and yet 'not being an asshole' is readily achievable.

If you are regularly an asshole, that's on you and has nothing to do with how smart you are or aren't.

WELL IDK WHAT YOU EXPECT ME TO DO ABOUT IT, WATCH

THIS ISN'T HELPING

Smart watches that measure stress are a great invention, until you start to stress about how consistently high your stress level is. We have invented meta-stress, stress at the prospect of being too stressed!

Kids always stress about whether they’re popular, and I just want to reassure them that when they grow up, that will be the #1 factor determining their career, relationships, and self-worth, so they’re dead on, smart getting ahead of it

Are people jerking off with their smart rings on

Why are you doing this to yourself

Why would you ever do this to yourself even if it wasn't Peter Thiel getting your smart ring jerkoff data

One of the best parts of getting old has been the realization that I am much less smart and competent than I was led to believe when I was younger and accepting that fact has reduced my stress level so much. I think everyone should embrace their stupidity

And I really want to stress this again: the guy is a dullard. A moron. A dead-eyed husk. Decent manipulator, decent at playing a character. He's Joe Rogan for people who think they're too smart for Joe Rogan but aren't too smart for Joe Rogan at all.

You know how much faculty stress could be avoided by just consulting faculty first before forcing unwanted and expensive technology on them? So much. There is literally no upside to pouring money into tech faculty will have to work hard to avoid (dreaded "smart"boards in my uni).

I stress about things I’m way too smart to be stressing over.

I must give off a different kind of stress because then he's looking out the window for cars, or checking the door looking at me funny. LOL He's smart.

My least favorite example - smart toothbrushes. I don’t want my toothbrush interfacing with my phone and sending me a bunch of stress-inducing data! Last time I had to replace my electric toothbrush, it was hard to find one that wasn’t “smart”
I used to be a tech enthusiast. I am becoming a tech dethusiast. I don’t want any more tech to buy. I don’t want smart appliances. I don’t want smart pants. I don’t want smart dumbbells.

I just want things that I can buy and that work for 20 years.

Hang on. Receiving vital health information from my smart nose ring. Heart rate. Nose stress. Nose temperature.

I can’t stress this enough, it’s really easy to get fooled and it doesn’t make you less smart for not spotting it, but it is possible to get better at spotting it the more you learn about what to look for.
Don’t feel stupid if you fell for fake video. It can be really hard to tell these days. But we do have to try and be careful with what we share because there’s so much AI video out there.

It’s just the world we live in now.

Sleep deprivation and extended periods of stress can exacerbate memory issues. I also recommend auto-paying bills, buying essential items in bulk, Tile/Airtag trackers, simplifying routines, as well as setting timers for lamps and other electronics with smart outlets.
tired, forgetful and/or ADHD? Here are things that have helped me:
-insulated water bottles and thermoses to keep drinks at optimal temps for long periods
-open shelving + clear bins
-aggressive Google calendar
-a smart watch for alarms instead of your phone
-Slack reminders
-frozen meals
