While I think most literate people can be insightful and articulate in text form, if given enough time to collect their thoughts, it is a rare talent to be able to do that verbally, in real time, while responding to interruptions, hostile jibes or pointed questions and STILL get your point across.

if you read the notes, you’ll also note that all the alterations are planned and structured so as to not affect the medieval structure- they’re essentially building a skin inside the medieval cruck frame. Expensive, but doesn’t harm the historic fabric.

The only AI use case I have seen working has been note-taking at meetings, which are structured and generally use formal language. Anything even slightly off the beaten path confuses the robots no end but all these AI companies are desperate to be the first to replace workers and reap the profits.

(On a personal note: given the complexities of how the regime is structured and the number of people invested in its survival, I caution my fellow Iranians not to get their hopes up regarding the timeline the chancellor proposed. Better to be emotionally safe than sorry.)

on a related note to programming i think the hardest part for me when it comes to learning to code is that outside of a structured school environment where it's a grading necessity, code practice by virtue of "make a stupid little duplicate project that doesn't matter that you'll throw away" sucks!!

I oppose *Unfettered capitalism. The way the system is structured now is far too exploitative, unbalanced and predatory. It rewards the greediest and allows them to take advantage of every loophole imaginable at nobody’s benefit but their own.
