I do try & look after stuff, but tbh it’s mostly been used to work out bass parts or single note rhythm gtr lines. I’m always slightly in awe of old acoustics that have the semi-circle of plectrum wear across the soundboard - big up the heavy heavy strummers!

At the time Indie and grunge was killing trad 80s rock the way punk killed prog in the 70s I was very anti-indie because it seemed like my guitar hero gods were being ousted by rhythm strummers who couldn’t do a solo. I became a snob against Indie despite where I was from, a mini hotbed of Indie.
