How it started. What it’s becoming. #stuDio119schs (D119).

@peterhreynolss.bsky.social moves into the Studio today. I don’t have all of the titles, but I’m proud to offer this curation to my students. #stuDio119schs

This lamp I bought from a neighbor is going to look sharp in #stuDio119schs. I want our classroom to be the premier of the new addition.

Our students in #Studio119schs are working through the LIVE YOUR VALUES decks this week in advance of our final speech for the semester. Narratives tying our values to objects. A nod to Jan Stassen’s THE MUSEUM OF VALUES, 200+ narratives curated presenting values and stories as a/THE “social glue.”

I tickle myself sometimes. This will probably end up being my favorite part of the new space. A wooden P. A block that reads “try.” Now I’ll fix or fashion a flat O and a block E for a “poetry” installation. Steal this idea, please. #stuDio119schs

I just ordered the Haiku book to add to my Haiku Curation in my classroom, #StuDio119schs (D119). This will work well in expanding our possibilities for this short form!

#stuDio119schs (D119) continues to come together. More book cases coming in. I want this to be a premier room within the new addition. A room where students who would do the work in process, in production, and performance would be proud to do so. This is our space. And yet we are all temporal here.

When I saw these three seniors from Studio 119 working together in our school store, I knew just what to do. No caption necessary here. #StuDio119SCHS

LIKE STARS ON EARTH was an end-of-semester tradition for thirteen years. The film features this week in advance of the break for its first year in #stuDio119schs.

I’m currently on the market for a quirky, conversation-worthy clock for #stuDio119schs. We had to move from Room 407 last spring. The build-back is slow, but I like how the space is coming together.
