While elected Dems are meeting this historical moment by wearing symbolic colors and chanting “We will win!” the bulk of Americans are too busy goggling slack-jawed at celeb news on their stupidphones to care.

I imagine part of the problem is Americans are cognitively compromised from gaping slackjawed at nonsense on their stupidphones. The notion of active civic engagement requires too much energy and concentration.

Take fx, o4n, nm4x and C8$ away from them for a week. Suicide rate will probably be 20%+ because none of what they're seeing can possibly be true. Oh, and no stupidphones.
