“Subscription model.”

Once again recommending that you cancel your subscription to any service the NYT provides. Hit them in their pocketbook until they stop being shitlords.
Nasty work by the Times here. Law enforcement sources say they found "some evidence" that Ilhan Omar married her brother, but the paper doesn't say who they are or what the evidence is.

Cancel your Spotify subscription.
“The product would allow paying subscribers to use AI to create their own versions of popular songs, such as transforming a folk song into a dance track or making one artist appear to cover another’s music.”

You mean you don't think the question that began "I can’t imagine life without my beloved Times subscription" was organic??

Also, your local public library may offer a subscription. I have been renewing my 72-hour free subscription from my local library for literal years now.

We’re not adding them."

It's this sort of reporting that makes me regret not having a NY Times subscription so that I could angrily cancel my NY Times subscription.
The NYT is going for a Pulitzer in the incompetent reporting category. They had a major piece giving background on the Dan Sullivan senator story and never once mentioned that Alaska's ranked-choice voting makes it moot www.nytimes.com/2026/10/31/i...
Inside the Times’s Decisions on the Alaska Senate Race Story
Our investigation found that Democratic operatives were behind a plan to bring a potential spoiler into the Senate race.

With more people ditching Spotify, a flashback to the weird fucker thing they did when I cancelled my subscription.
I cancelled my Spotify subscription and, after clicking though half a dozen "PLEEEEEAAAAAAASE NO!" screens, they send you this playlist. Because the best way to retain customers is to emulate a teenage boy being dumped right before summer break.

My only newspaper subscription these days. It's great.

I absolutely loathe the "subscription model" that has appeared for things like games and movies - and CAR FEATURES for chrissakes. 🤬
