The more distant one has more superstructure. Presumably for the nearer one, that became substructure instead

"I'm not happy unless I'm the dumbest guy in the room." Ok cool, it's got optimal substructure so we can use dynamic programming and it'll look like "No, no, that's just disrespectful."

my own bones. think about that for a second. inside the meat. the meat has a substructure. that's a horror movie premise treated as standard issue.

On the level of economic substructure, Capitalism depends on infinite growth against a finite stock of natural resources. It's untenabble longterm. This, in turn, fuels an apocalyptic mentality at the level of ideological superstructure where it's easier to imagine the world ending than Capitalism.

I put an LLM chat next to the Ketcher editor, with RDKit as its tools. Asked to run a substructure search, the model called the tool 6 of 6 times, yet 2 answers were wrong: it wrote 2-aminopyrazine as the query. A correct tool can't fix a wrong input. #Cheminformatics

For new build, structure alone can account for 50 to 65 per cent of embodied carbon. Which means the biggest carbon levers are architectural, and pulled early.

Five that matter, this World Architecture Day:

World Architecture Day: The Architect's Hand in Whole Life Carbon
Substructure and superstructure carry most of a building's embodied carbon. Why the biggest carbon levers sit in architects' hands, and get pulled early.

I get the thing where if you care about a thing or it did something key for your life, that it must have 25 dimensional chess level design going on in it.

Sometimes, though, you've scraped off all the veneer of design and now gazing at a messy substructure, imposing patterns like a Rorschach blot.

The structure of the pillory is a PVC pipe core base, overlaid with rigid insulation foam, filled with spray foam, then carved for texture. It's hardcoated with Smooth-On™ Epsilon PRO epoxy, and finished with acrylic paint. The ironwork is craft foam sheets with Modern Masters® Oxidizing Iron Paint.

Deep culture always returns to shape a society in a way similar to how a person’s emotional subconscious is forever biting at the heels of rational cognition. Culture is the substructure upon which the superstructure of ideology, politics and economics are built

This is exciting, as it would change fundamentally how we think of particles like the Higgs or the electron.

And since this is an inevitable structure of the theory, this is also a guaranteed discovery: Either we measure this dual substructure, or we fundamentally do not understand our theory.

Both papers together show that we have simulations of this theory under control, and in the next few months this will pay off by having a flurry of more results on it. This will allow to understand the dual substructure way better. And perhaps find an unambiguous signal.
