Released or not, these are seriously smart. Does anyone know what the history is of the species on site at all? I know that two years ago there was discussion as to origins & provenance...

Our afternoon was focused on walking tracks thru' a big set-aside field at Kesgrave for the Queen of Spain Fritillaries reported recently. We had 5 brief sightings on a blustery, often cloudy afternoon across 2 hours. Then, boom! A feeding QOSF! Sweet!

Went to Landseer Park in Ipswich hoping to see a Brown Hairstreak. I have never seen Brown Hairstreak before so was very pleased to find one. It showed briefly, long enough to get a quick picture but soon disappeared under leaves and appeared to be ovipositing. #suffolkbutterflies

Smart Clouded Yellow up on verges of Rougham Airfield yesterday.
