I don’t think he intended to sunbathe. It was mainly meant as decoration (it’s important to him that it’s visible when you enter the room). And if he makes some phone calls sitting in that thing rather than at his desk, do we really care?

Should note that the big guy has only ever been out on our backyard concrete just by the door with us when we are right there. He gets a little time in the sun and then we bring him back in. No unsupervised wandering, even inside the 7ft fence around the small yard. He just wants to sunbathe.😸

West Cornwall: Blackberries long shrivelled and it's certainly autumn-cosy-introverted in the mornings, although late summer again by afternoon. Cats taking a late sunbathe, one of their last for the year, everywhere. Found an unexpected hazelnut tree so will go back to gather. Much colder at dusk.

In Berlin, before the wall came down, you could sunbathe nude in the middle of the city in the middle of the day whether you were an attractive man or woman and be left alone. Same at the beach. It was a non-issue.

I'm wholeheartedly behind your attempt at trying to get that tan line, the possibility of a photo plays no part in that whatsoever 😏

It is the perfect suntrap and not overlooked at the top. Now the kid is grown up and move out i can sunbathe all I want.
