Had a hard time shooting the solar eclipse today. No sunfilter or ND in the correct size. In the middle of dinner, clouds, neighbors roof in the way. But still a solar eclipse. www.ma-foto.net #solareclipse #eclipse #sun #photographer

I've taken these photos with my Canon G1X mark2 and my selfmade SunFilter ( with Baader AstoSolar Folie).

12 of August, #partialsolareclipse, I was prepared with a self made #sunfilter for my camera #fujifilmxt3, composite image of the partial eclipse, also did a small experiment with a paper and shadows (pinhole effect)

Even with my mirrorless Canon, i would only try that with a special sunfilter. No idea what might happen to the sensor with that strong sunlight
