I still have copies of the Starlog offshoot CineMagic, the FX guide for the “backyard filmmaker.” Incredibly imaginative for movie makers working with zero budget.
I’d hate to see that come back today. It would probably be a lot of articles teaching nothing but AI prompts for their FX work.
