Romance barely exists on this soap. I miss the supercouples of the past. That's why I watch the soaps, I want romance. The chemistry has to be built up and nutured over years. Character driven! The outlandish soapy storylines should come secondary to build up of the supercouples. I want angst! #GH

They were one of the most popular supercouples in #ATWT history and were the IT fictional supercouple in the show's last years. They were one of the greatest soap supercouples of all time. Y'all #GH fans that have only seen MW as Ava missed out!

Ditto. I also think #GH just doesn't want supercouples anymore; it's like they're allergic to them. They'll give us the blandest pairings possible, though,with a very quick turnaround.

It annoys me how soaps are failing their couples/romances now, even with the younger pairings its dull now, with ATWT we had Luke and Noah, Gwen and Will etc, and yes GH struck gold with Spencer and Trina, but now its like their supercouples are all fading or they just not writing good ones

#GH doesn't want long-lasting supercouples! It's been a revolving door of couples for as long as I've been watching! The few times that they do strike gold with a pairing, they set out to ruin and destroy them! The actors will have some nice magical chemistry going on, and GH is like, "nope!"

That's what GH does best: ruins couples. It's been a revolving door of pairings per character ever since I've been watching #GH. I'm still not used to it being from the school of Carly and Jack. This soap doesn't believe in letting magic happen and getting true supercouples. It's force, rush, ruin.

I'm from the school of Carly and Jack with Maura. They were one of the greatest soap supercouples of all-time. Maura's chemistry with Michael Park was fireworks from the very beginning. No other fictional pairing Maura has is going to come close to them. However, I know Maura could do it again...#GH

I think the days of Supercouples on soaps is passing by anyway. There are some great couples but the buzz around soaps isn't loud enough anymore to make a supercouple. I think GH had gold in Spencer and Trina (that was beginning to break through into the mainstream) but they squandered it.
