Gross. I don’t want to buy products made in a totalitarian, surveillance superstate. Move the production line back to China.

So the “apocalyptic hellscape” of California kicked in $83 billion MORE to the federal government than it got back, while the “freedom-loving superstate” of Texas took a whopping $89 billion in federal funds. Funny how that works.

Tbf I’d be up for a pan-European superstate led by Norway.

See, Twitter was the people, gawker was the people’s army and the encrypted group chat made at a catered dinner was the Gestapo in the networked superstate and in this essay I will…

But it’s ok because Larry Ellison only wants a total surveillance superstate. His words not mine.

Watch him with Tony Blair below talking about NHS data & all the wonderful things one could do with it.

my most controversial US opinion that wont get me suspended is that maine and massachussetts should simply annex all 23 yards of new hampshires coastline and combine into a superstate called mainesachussetts

Clegg is not some feverish Brexit-living CANZUK enthusiast. He knows that the EU is not the dictatorial superstate of the Daily Mail‘s imagination. Which means that he should know that "Brussels should just decide to simplify“ is not a thing.

What works in a tiny, homogeneous nation of 6 million will not work in a massive, diverse federal superstate of 350 million. What works in Finland might not even work in New York or LA (both of which are bigger and are not full of Finns)

A European superstate would be quite useful right now

The EU allowed? The EU is not a superstate. The EU cannot remove a government voted in by its own people.

This is why the left is doomed. They'll be building a fascist superstate & I'll be wondering how many ants could live in one elephant, and whether any elephants are allergic to ants

🙃 In Murmansk, Russia, indestructible points are being launched, although no one bombed them.

The blackout in the main northern port of the Russian Federation has been going on for a week due to the rotten power grid in the "superstate"

they want to be validated and praised for their morality in fighting against kids in cages in 2020 and for their pragmatic sensibility in supporting the democrats going in on the border wall and fucking over asylum seekers in 2024 at the same time. they want to be a political quantum superstate.

This superstate would be called Chiiiiiiiiiile.
So what states would you like to see rise from the fallen ashes of the US empire? I, for one, am a Long Chile guy.

Lol. They need to stop pussyfooting around. Go full superstate. EU army. Protective tarrifs. Own oil and gas fields etc etc etc.

I thought they hated the "superstate" concept...?

Wouldn't it be ironic if the impetus towards European Unity – a European federal superstate, if you like – was inadvertently given an injection of steroids by a US president who is being cheered on by Britain's Brexity Right...?
