It looks too small to be a VHS. Betamax? A video camera SuperVHS?

No way!

Hardcore fans noticed a reference to the 16th episode of the Russian cartoon "Ну, погоди!" in the Marvel "VisionQuest" trailer.

A true multiverse of madness!

Giving my new (to me) time base corrector a spin! #HighQualityVideoCapture #SuperVHS

recorded a video on my JVC supervhs camcorder :)
grabbed the audio and the digital feed for syncing purposes, but I actually recorded it to a VHS-C tape to digitize and then it'll be authentic, recorded-to-tape video with modern HQ audio, which i think is rly fun!!

For those curious here's the equipment list:

Got my SoundBeast video capture device, which I’m liking a lot, especially native file system support for OSX, which my ClearClick didn’t. However, it revealed that my SuperVHS VCR might be toast. So that’s super annoying. (see what I did there)

Mä olisin varmaan vähän jälessä aikaano ja mulla olis vanhojen filmien videolle siirtopalvelu. Sen nimi olisi SuperVHS Salonen sloganinaan "nauhottaa filkat töllöstä toljotettaviksi".

Myöhemmin myisin digitointipalvelua, jossa matskut siirretään DVCameille. Sen puljun nimi olisi Camanen.

Looking back at the remastered #Ozone from 17 years ago, there’s room for improvement picture-wise. So I’m rebuilding the entire flick from camera masters — again! — for forthcoming #bluray release. 📼🤪

As a sidenote, DR has an Analog Damage effect which is also fantastic to get the fuzz, blur and chroma issues you see on VHS tapes - I *think* its only available in Studio (the paid version of DR), however you can also get other plugins like SuperVHS by Akascape which is really awesome.

Super VHS – An Unofficial Red Letter Media Game

Oh wait you mean video game, silly me: evilempire.itch.io/supervhs
