The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still

The photo shows an installation in a greenhouse. There is a very large sculpture of a female figure who has apparently become too big for or has been trapped by an imposing glass greenhouse. Constructed with newspaper clippings, wood and metal vents the figure is so large its feet crashed the brick floor. The female figure is sitting on one knee. The double doors of the greenhouse are opened.
