Hanging Out with Fog

I loved viewing seasonal changes along Huguenot Flatwater, in RVA. Unfortunately change is inevitable. My favorite trees are gone.

Definitely feeling like autumn. It's dark earlier, and there's a chill in the air early and late, although still warmth in the sun in the afternoon.

How today started: woke up by a cuddly cat and sutumn air so cool it made me tear up.

How it's going: walking 2 miles to decent coffee because someone joked the 3 car batteries were dead and my bike tires are bent.

Water every 2 weeks by filling pot completely, stand for 20 minutes, drain and back to its sunny spot.
This sutumn-winter-sprinh method has worked so many times for us! 🪻

Another dead snake.
Around 30cm long.
At first I thought it was just a skin, but it's too lumpy and juicy.
Probably a grass snake?
