Oh no did you read a swearword oh NO

When a very polite and proper person swears, it always feels far more powerful than when a foulmouthed person swears.

This post is the poltical equivalent of a very polite person issuing a rare but very heartfelt swearword.

I never have a Sharpie when I need one.

Fulking Hill (which is at the top the escarpment) is such a great non-swearword swearword.

Professor, you could've ended with a Trini swearword or two directed at the "president":
Namely, "Yuh muddakunt."

fun fact: I've heard that in Dutch cities' immigrant-majority neighborhoods, "kurwa" is now an internationally universal swearword, used by Arabs and Senegalese alike

Ben asked ChatGPT to invent an FBPE swearword...
Just had a go at this on the old LLM and let’s just say I am now an AI believer. Here’s a sample:

“Pipe down, you Brexit-bungling gammonlord.”

As an European I am not so shocked. The US markets never were that free. Also interesting that socialism still remains a swearword.

(The interesting thing is that *where* you put the swearword influences the results, for reasons even we - information professionals and absolute legends - don't really understand.)

Look if you're gonna swear in my replies don't censor that shit. I'm not a child, you're presumably not a child, so just use the whole swearword please

Tens of people in Derby and the Derby area will have heard a swearword, and you're laughing?

Twat is the best swearword. The only swearword that can both capture the breadth of affection and depths of despair one can feel for someone all at once. It lacks the aggression of the other curses, it shoos away easily, it's a panda at a bear party. I love you, but you're being a twat.

Fun fact: Ofcom regards “bullshit” as a milder swearword than “shit”, meaning you’re allowed to say it on Radio 4 during the day (I speak from experience, and from a producer having to check first).

Thank you for saying that; for a while I had "liberal" muted on here as too many people were using it as a swearword.

'Bollocks' being considered a swearword you need to star out and not, frankly, a much of a muchness with 'poppycock' or frankly even just 'nonsense' is one of those real "oh dear" moments that cause you to revisit a bunch of exchanges.
What a wordcloud.

I was not aware 'Starmer' was a swear word.
