Here is everything that you need to know about Smallville- "I swear"

The Fandom lifted this. Do not actually watch the show.
Also Clark Kent is "15" years old for part of this.

One of the best fanvids of all time, and why I am absolutely here for transformative works.

Cheers to Dualbunny and co.

since Emma and I watched Cabaret this week, one of my favourite ever fanvids: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqW3...

Also, as an aside: a long time ago I authorized sweetestdrain to finish whatever WiPs of mine she likes, and my family knows to get her my hard drives, so if anything ever happens to me, you can still nag her to finish that Methos vid I abandoned in 2010

I've had a number of conversations over the years with other folks who also attended VividCon for the first time in 2005, and how formative that one-two punch of Ecstatic Drum Trip and Street Café was to our vidding. It probably also informed how sweetestdrain & I VJed premieres ourselves later on.

So many pearls.

On this Batman Day, let us all take a moment to remember that Bruce Wayne's parents are dead.

#FanvidRec for "Jacob's Ladder" by sweetestdrain from 2016.

Summary: "Pearls."

(CW for death, obviously. Pearls, blood, etc.)

"Don't Call Me Baby" by Greensilver & sweetestdrain is such a classic Star Wars vid I still love it. (From 2013.)

Sometimes someone matches a song to a source and it is a perfect fit, which is very much the case with sweetestdrain's fanvid "Freakum Dress" for a bunch of Batman movies. Perfect. Premiered at Club Vivid at Vividcon in 2011. 🦇🧵

Been busy, don't think I recommended any fanvids yet today.

How about an epic Terminator vid to Patti Smith's "Land"?

Probably a bit odd that when I hear "Land" I think of Terminator stuff-- I blame this vid from 2009 by sweetestdrain.

Speaking of Bruce Wayne’s parents being dead . . .

“Jacob’s Ladder” by sweetestdrain is a short fanvid about, well, that. And pearls, of course.
