Following repeated incidents involving suspicious Russian shadow fleet activity near undersea infrastructure, Poland is increasing security around the SwePol Link power cable.

A 35 km stretch of the 450kV / 600 MW submarine power cable SwePol has been inspected by Swedish hydrographic ship SVEA last 48 hours.
SVEA is on her second pass of the same area, about midway between Poland and Sweden.
