Fantastic! Our house was in Swepstone, which was next to Newton Burgoland and Ibstock. Too small a village/hamlet for most people to know. Son went to school in Appleby and I still have amazing friends there. Lovely people.

Driving back from Shackerstone we passed a Severn Trent water tanker filling from a standpipe near Measham.
Overflow wasn’t the word!!
Bloody river was going down Swepstone Road
Someone has water to waste.
