While we've now posted all of our contributor introductions, that was by no means the full list of contributors - we've got plenty more who chose to surprise you all, and not reveal themselves until launch day was upon us.

... so would you like to meet them all?

We would love to introduce you to @selunitejeanne.bsky.social , one of our superbly talented VP artists! She gifted us with two gorgeous explorations of Shadowheart's relationships, and we cannot WAIT to show you!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
SeluniteJeanne SeluniteJeanne (she/her) joins us as a virtual photographer! Her favourite character? Shadowheart. Favourite ship? Shadowheart and her Tav, Jeanne. A close second is Shadowheart and Nocturne. Her favourite quest ? You guessed it - Daughter of Darkness. Perhaps you're noticing a theme? As a lesbian, she finds it refreshing to play a game where she can express her sexuality so freely. You could almost say she's... over the moon about it. Find her on tumblr and bsky as selunitejeanne!

Our last introduction for you is @vyxcordia.bsky.social the multi-talented! They joined us as an art moderator, but then also became a writing moderator, and also wrote us a story... and ALSO painted a gorgeous art piece! Is their nothing they can't do?

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Vyxcordia Vyxcordia (they/she) joins us as an artist and art moderator! Her favourite character is Jaheira, and they particularly love Jaheira x Karlach. They really love helping Karlach kill Gortash. They work in video games, and often feel alone, isolated, and unheard at their job. With BG3, they can just tell queer people put their heart and soul into creating elements of the game, as well as creating for the amazing community surrounding it. She feels so seen and heard <3 They have a huge tattoo of Vitani from The Lion King 2 because she is a lesbian icon! Find them on AO3 and bsky as Vyxcordia!

As we hit the final stretch, we'd love to introduce @vampirescones.bsky.social ! Scones joins us as an artist, with not one but two beautiful and tender art pieces that we cannot wait to show you... sooner than you think!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
VampireScones VampireScones (she/her) joins us as an artist! BG3 reignited something in her she'd forgotten she'd lost. Suddenly, she had blorbos that meant something and characters she actually cared about! It dragged 15-year-old Scones back out, who just wanted to draw and write and yap with friends over the same hyperfixations. The game also gave her space to explore her own sexuality in a way she hadn't before. Having queer characters and queer options that felt real and textured gave her permission to explore what she actually wanted. Find her on bsky and instagram as vampirescones!

An artist we're delighted to bring to your attention is Paula (with Sharks)! We have it on good authority the Sharks are sapphic allies, so don't worry. Paula has some breathtaking art that we are so excited to show you!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Paula (with Sharks) Paula (they/she) joins us as an artist! Lae'zel and Gale are tied in first place as her favourite character, and they love the eerie, unsettling atmospheres of the Underdark, and the entirety of Act 2. The thing she loves best about the queer rep in BG3 is the fact its so normal! There's no questioning, there's no doubt, nothing. They believe in the importance of discussing and acknowledging important topics like homophobia in RPGs, but sometimes its draining having to navigate through it and deal with it when they're trying to have fun. Having characters believe you without being snarky, or anything of the sort is refreshing: to the game, everyone is just a person, not their sexuality or gender. Find them on tumblr as paulawithsharks!

It's high time we introduced you to TheTruthHertz, one of our superbly talented writers! She is here to sing the gospel truth about the Moon Lesbians, and has two stories about Aylin and Isobel to tempt you with!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
TheTruthHertz TheTruthHertz (she/her) joins us as a writer! She absolutely loves Dame Aylin, and loves BG3 for giving her one of the most beautiful and amazing lesbian couples she's seen in video gaming in Aylin and Isobel. Their story and love for each other is her favourite part of the game. Both characters and their relationship truly make her feel truly seen as a lesbian woman. She has a great love for women's rugby, both as a player and a spectator, and when not daydreaming about Moon Lesbians, she works in engineering! Find her on AO3 as An_FNG!

Introducing another one of our very talented writers, it's PriestlyinLove! Priestly is possibly Auntie Ethel's most diehard fan, and she's got the fic to prove it! Will she sway you as well? Find out and read her fic!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Priestlyislove Priestlyislove (she/her) joins us as a writer! Her favourite character is Wyll, and she really, really loves the devotion of Wyll x Karlach. She loves how many kickass women populate the world of BG3 (don't we all, Priestly, don't we all). She brings us an Auntie Ethel piece for the zine, and is so pro-hag that she's quite convinced that poor Ethel was just misunderstood throughout her storyline. Just a miscommunication, she swears! To the surprise of no-one, her favourite quests are Ethel's storyline. Find her on AO3 as Priestlyislove!

Time for another one of our incredibly talented VP artists, it's @trobadourbard.bsky.social ! Tay absolutely blew us away with a GORGEOUS Karlach/Tav piece, and we're so excited to show you all!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Tay Tay (she/her) joins us as a Virtual Photographer! She loves how BG3 helps her to express her bisexuality, without constantly asking her to question herself. She loves her beautiful butch tiefling wife AND her pansexual mess vampire equally. She is Brazilian, studied Korean in college, and has been in three bands since high school. Her favourite ship is Hellspawn. Find her on bsky as trobadourbard!

Let us introduce you to The Nug King! Nug joins us as a writer, and brings us something very tasty for all the Orin fans in the audience...

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
The Nug King Nug (they/any) joins us as a writer! Baldur's Gate 3 holds a special place in their heart as the first RPG they played that had non-binary options in the character creator. Zir favourite character is Orin. "She growl, spinning suddenly, knife catching the thigh of the devil behind her before its bulging eyes can blink. Orin the Red is not afraid to die, won't hide away from Father to slowly starve within her tomb. She slashes, cuts, gouges, makes rivers of blood from insect bellies, makes art of their deaths as she crafts her own, all red and white and blood freezing into ice. She will be beautiful, her corpse-meat a shrine to Bhaal - even in the depths of Hell they will know Father's name." Excerpt from This is Not a Place of Honour Find them on tumblr and AO3 as TheNugKing!

We'd love for you all to meet @kamuizzy.neocities.org ! Izzy joins us as an artist, with a delightful modern Shadowheart and Tav we can't wait to show you!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Izzy Izzy (any pronouns) joins us as an artist! Zir favourite character is Shadowheart, and her favourite ship is Shadowzel. BG3 was his introduction to RPGs, and having the option to romance the female companions as a F!Tav or NB!Tav felt so comforting to them. This game helped zim feel more secure in their sexuality and gender, and to overcome comphet. Aside from drawing, she also likes making clay dolls and sewing! They even started learning how to use a sewing machine recently! Find them on tumblr and bsky as kamuizzy!

Next up, we've got Jo joining us as an artist! We're not going to spoiler things TOO much, but Jo gave us two beautiful pieces, one of which was an outstanding mock-up of a fake romance novel... we wish it was real!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Jo Jo (she/they/he) joins us as an artist! She would kill for Wyll and Halsin, but they would die for Orin. Unfortunately with Orin, that's always a very real possibility! One thing to know about her is that they will always end up blending all of his favourite ships into one big yarn ball of relationship dynamics. The companions all ended up in one big chaotic polycule the moment she got his hands on them. Find them on tumblr as jo-the-nerd or look up their carrd at jo-the-nerd.carrd.co!

Our next contributor, the wonderful dramaticchipmunk joins us as a writer! And what a writer she is - Lucretious of the Circus of the Last Days has been given a whole new life under her careful pen, and it's one of our absolute favourite stories!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Dramatic Chipmunk Dramatic Chipmunk (she/her) joins us as a writer! Her favourite character is Astarion, and her favourite ship is Karlach x Shadowheart. "I feel like queerness is the emotional architecture of the entire game. Every companion's arc is fundamentally about the same question: who are you when you stop being what someone else made you? Shadowheart unlearning an implanted faith, Lae'zel realising her culture's highest aspiration is a lie, Karlach reclaiming desire in a body modified without her consent, Astarion rebuilding selfhood after centuries of performing for survival - none of it is labelled queer, but it's all the queer experience. The closet, the unlearning, the scary moment where you choose authentic selfhood over the power structures that shaped you. And what I love especially is that the game doesn't carve out a special lane for queer players or offer a "queer reading", it's part of the world naturally. And that's what makes it feel less like representation and more like recognition." Find her on bsky as dramaticchipmunk, AO3 as dramatic_chipmunk, and tumblr as dramatiquechipmunk!

As the countdown continues, we'd love to introduce you to Puddingway! She joins us as a writer, with an absolutely delightful modern AU featuring Lae'zel and Shadowheart!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Puddingway Puddingway (she/er) joins us as a writer! She's all about everything Lae'zel - her favourite character, her favourite romance, her favourite storyline... her struggle to become her own person and her emotional conflict regarding the githyanki egg are personal highlights. She loves that the women in BG3 all have lives of their own, struggles, strengths, weaknesses, and messy personalities of their own, and don't need to be shipped with others to feel complete. They each are the centre of their own stories, even if partnered with someone. And speaking of partnered... she met her own girlfriend through BG3 fanfiction! Find her on AO3 as Puddingway!

We would love for you to meet @sasha-arilda.bsky.social next! Sasha joins us as a writer, and has blessed us with two marvellous stories featuring Lae'zel and their gith Tav!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Sasha Sasha (she/they/he) joins us as a writer! Her favourite character is Lae'zel, and her favourite ship is Lae'zel x Tav. Their favourite part of BG3 was Lae'zel's personal quest, of rejecting Vlaakith and learning that there is more to life than what she was led to believe. BG3 is important to him because it let them fully explore their identity through characters he was interested in, and that defy traditional gender roles. Fun fact: she has 4 dogs! Find her on AO3 as Royals_Sasha or bsky as sasha-arilda!

First off the ranks today, one of our dear Guests! Lyrus has joined us as a musician, and what a beautiful piece they've got ready for you. It brought tears to our eyes!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
Lyrus Lyrus (they/them) joins us as a musician! Their favourite character is Shadowheart, and their Tav romances her every time. To the surprise of no one, Daughter of Darkness is their favourite storyline in the game. They had never played a CRPG before BG3, and didn't know characters could be romanced. When Shadowheart suggested sharing a bottle of wine, they panicked and had to reload after initially declining. For them, access to representation is vital, and queer inclusive gaming is everything. Find them on tumblr as callmelyrus and AO3 as CallMeLyrus

Another wonderful artist for you all to get hyped for, it's @enjoythepizza.bsky.social ! Font gave us just the SWEETEST pitch imaginable and we couldn't say no. We can't wait to show it to you!

#swordcoastsapphics #baldursgate3
The Font Bandit The Font Bandit (she/her) joins us as an artist! Her favourite character is Astarion, because she's weak to flirty characters hiding their trauma. She has a soft spot for Alfira x Lakrissa - they're just so fluffy sweet and adorable! She loves how casually and naturally queer BG3 is. There's no fuss or fanfare - it just is, which means a lot to see and experience. Fun fact: she paints custom book edges in her spare time! Find her on Tumblr as artbyfont, and Bluesky as enjoythepizza!
