Surprise me! Commission for @lynxfrost13.bsky.social of their lovely Sylvari, Amel

[ #gw2 #vgencomm #sylvari #art ]
A digital illustration of a Sylvari with green skin, adorned in iridescent blue and purple clothing made from leaves. A leafy cape flows forward, giving the appearance of a fairy wing, matching the character's fairy-like beauty. Glowing flowers are nestled into his purple and pink leaf strands of hair and the background features an abstract pattern of peacock feathers.

🥹 The art really suits this WIP I've had sitting in the dungeons for a bit. Just Koni and #Canach enjoying a rare day off.

She likes to tug on his needles when she's poking fun at him and in turn he rubs her thorns coz she finds it relaxing (they're sensitive!)

An excerpt from an unpublished gw2 fic, by RhyPhirus. It's a short scenario in involving two sylvari, where Akoni cheekily wakes up Canach with mock complaint on the latter's half. Working on another illustration for #GuildWars2 😆 I'm a bit late for #Halloween, but Shadow of the Mad King is still going for a few days 🎃
Hope I can get it done by tomorrow!

I recently drew one of my far too many #sylvari from #GuildWars2 posing with a pumpkin 🎃

Never really been into Halloween much, but drawing pumpkins and autumn-colours (did that on another illustration that I can't show yet) kinda makes me like it more! 👻

God I love how ANET did their races. They could have done generic elves, but instead went with the vastly more interesting Sylvari. A race grown from a tree that have only existed for 10 years is a hell of a good concept.

illustration featuring two characters in a rocky landscape under a bright sky. In the foreground, a character with green hair made of leaves and pointed elven ears leans forward, looking to the left where a small, glowing orange dragonfly creature rests near their extended hand. They're wearing a red bodysuit. In the background, a man with dark hair pulled back into a high bun, a beard, and a blindfold looks down with a slight grin at his companion. The scene is bathed in warm, sandy gold tones.

With that, StarTober 2026 is officially as done as it gets this year. Technically there is 1 more day, but I want to spend a good amount of time on the cover art.

Thank you all for joining me, and I will see you after Break Week on the 9th! Love you, starlets! #NovusArt #GuildWars2 #Sylvari

One day, he'd stared at his reflection in a pool of water & looked at his body for too long, & he flew into one of these outbursts, which Caithe could feel as him & Caithe due to both being branded by Aurene have a somewhat telepathic bond almost in the way of sylvari empathy. -

NOT the commander but oh lawd it's def this dude.

Cadfael is very much up for humouring his charges (if he can keep Koni and Mystic busy with *other* things, then Canach's Club is mostly safe lmao) so he'll def take 'em out for tricks and treats, and shadows help the victims lol.

But since Koni-

hates the numerous sylvari microaggressions "salad/twig/ect" by the time she gets to Orr her response to jokes like "if a sylvari eats a salad, is it cannibalism?" is "so you're stupid"

I'm still trying to decide is she hates 'wayfinder' or if that's a me thing

25/08/2012 - I was just borned on a solitary early morning and took my first screenshot.
27/10/2026 - I streamed my return home.

Dear Arenanet,

Thank you for the adventure!
A newly created, level 2 sylvari character in default armour, a budding green colour with muddy leaves and a pink glow. She stands with an unnamed fern hound in front of a Pale Tree root and a pod cluster of unborn sylvari. The same sylvari 14 years later, looking out at the same village as before, with the same fern hound at her side. She is now blue, but faces the distance, wrapped in a sparkling cloak. Includes a stream overlay. The screenshot is noticably better rendered and higher resolution.
