French referee beats the hell out of a Spanish one. He probably hates RM and hopefully has no Pep agenda. Kuiper from the Netherlands is the best to me. Syzmanski is overrated. I thought he really helped Argentina with his decisions in the WC final. I didn't care since I was rooting for Arana.

It's a guess on my part, but I think David Syzmanski did that with Dusk -> Chop Goblins (and others).
I think it's a good idea if so; test out other aesthetics/narrative on top of similar mechanics

Somehow managed to save the two worst games on here for last. I liked Syzmanski and Airdorf's games the most and I had a good time with the goofy slightly janky escape room game. Carthanc and Rotgut were both pretty bad with everything else being decent

in honor of the upcoming adaptation that will likely be terrible (and my newfound love of david syzmanski, thanks to DUSK,) game #36 was Iron Lung! awesome atmospheric horror game that's only like 30 minutes long. i have NO desire whatsoever to replay it, but i really enjoyed my time with it.

It's amazing how even when Syzmanski is making a silly little shitpost FPS, it's still packed with pretty kickass weapons and solid level design. *Very* short, but a great time that even gave me a couple laughs. The singing Dracula boss fight felt like a fever dream though.
