We support @livingstreets.bsky.social #PavementOverload campaign to get delivery robots off our pavements. Pavements are already inaccessible for many #Disabled people, and these robots will make them less safe and more inaccessible. #TakingTheDis
Delivery robots are taking over UK pavements, causing chaos for pedestrians, despite having no laws allowing their use 🤖

Our Pavement Overload campaign is in the Guardian: https://bit.ly/4pdAuYx
Ministers likely to support law change to allow delivery robots on England’s paths
Exclusive: Safety campaigners concerned about plan for widespread deployment on already crowded pavements

We have complained to @merseyrail.bsky.social and @metromayorsteve.bsky.social about the ban on non-folding e-cycles. It especially harms #Disabled and older people who need e-assist for essential journeys. We support @cyclinguk.bsky.social’s campaign to overturn the ban. #AccessFail #TakingTheDis
🚲 Do you take your e-bike on the Merseyrail network?

#Merseyfail has banned non-folding e-bikes from its trains and stations. We asked Merseyrail to meet and share the evidence, they said no.

We’re challenging the ban via our Cyclists’ Defence Fund.

Help us bin the ban: cyclinguk.org/merseyfail

It is never acceptable to remove a #disabled person’s aids unless it’s necessary to reduce an immediate threat to safety.

Israel’s wheelchair should never have been taken from him.

#disability justice and equality is needed.

Here is a picture of crocuses.

It is not a picture of the new houses that have just been built nearby on level ground with steps up to their front doors casually baking in inaccessibility for generations, because I am too angry to post that.

If it’s unacceptable now, it’s not acceptable for the person newly disabled next year either.

And all they’ll do is rebrand PIP as a new benefit with new rates and it’ll all be gone, just as they did with DLA.

Please don’t concede for legacy protection.

The Met Police have surpassed themselves with a new low on their EDI fails - this time confiscating a #disabled man's wheelchair and impounding it in the car pound. Thankfully @wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk are on the case... #TakingTheDis

The upcoming #disability benefits cuts to u-22s are really upsetting me now. I was on them from 18, and they helped me recover and get my life together after everything fell apart at 17. Without that space to recover, I'd never have gone to university. I wouldn't be here.
