a really telling example of this is comparing DC aliens with the Kree, the Kree slowly picked up a TON of variety and unique details like the INhumans, the Sentry, Ronan, Mar-Vell, Supreme Intelligence, Starforce etc. compare that to like the Tamaranians who have Starfires & nothing else

One thing of note is that when the Titans are trapped in the goo that's devolving them, the Titans are regressed into Neanderthals - except for Starfire who's devolved into a cat creature which reinforces that Tamaranians are evolved from cats which show in their features & modern artists forget
