On Wednesday I was united with chairs made by my gdad and dad. My family were part of the 19thc furniture and chair making boom in High Wycombe, built up by my great grandfather! This is a later 20thc type when they branched into hospital, pub and hotel furniture.

I wish museums like The Met would have descriptions more user friendly. The fonts, paper color, and lighting are always difficult to read. And I like to read all the descriptions. Can museum curators please make these more accessible? #museums #tangiblehistory #artifacts
