The final version is likely not going to have a green front panel or grey knobs. I haven't decided on the colors yet though.

I did some surgery on it this morning, changing the feedback from 3x to 1x (unity). Hindsight, 3x was insane (why did I do that? :P). 1x is much better and now I'm able to get some lovely delay even off my quirky Marantz PMD221! Bias bleed isn't solved, but it is tamed.

No wire rot here! The wiring on this early model 'T7E' is tip top. Echorec machines manufactured before the early 1960s do not suffer from the wire rot problems seen in later machines, meaning there's no need to replace it. #binsonechorec #echorec #tapeecho
