So I was back in the libr-ar-atory today on the tardigade hunt, and finally onto sample four (of four) from the How Many Tardigrades on that Stick? project. Short answer: Every stick is a neighborhood. I have found 57 tardigrades so far, dozens of rotifers, nematodes, and myriad ciliates.🔬🧪

// dismemberment + transformation

there's a song about dismembering people and turning them into pigs Tusk style to be hunted for kings' entertainment. i'm not too big on pig stuff in kink but this is still hot to me, especially when the vocals aren't only unintelligible gutterals lol

I'll always appreciate Discovery for asking interesting questions: What is the balance between personal convictions and institutional conclusions? (Mutiny) In what cases is it ethical to harm living beings for our benefit? (Tardigade) Do the ethics change for other humans (Stamets as spore drive)

I don't think Murphy's law has enough time to get things wrong. The reasons is: This universe is not "friendly" to life. Everything, that is not a tardigade, that goes higher than 100 miles away from the Earth is going to die. From all this space in the universe, Earth is the only plave we can live.
