Black and white photograph of a modern high-rise building near the Tate Modern in London. The image shows a tall glass and steel structure with an intricate exoskeleton of diagonal metal crossbeams that form a geometric pattern on its façade. The central section of the building features a vertical glass column housing what appears to be lift shafts. The perspective looks upward from street level, emphasizing the building’s height and architectural symmetry. In the foreground, a curved stone wall bears the engraved words “TATE MODERN” in large, clean capital letters. Part of a leafy tree appears on the right side of the image, softening the otherwise industrial composition. The sky above is cloudy and muted, adding a dramatic contrast to the sleek lines of the structure.

I always found Leigh Bowery very scary, and, even now that I understand him a bit better, I would probably still run away from him. This is a great exhibition though, loads to see and read and laugh about.
