My old accounting firm rolled out a “TaxGPT” collaboration with ChatGPT and it would just hallucinate real looking portions of code buried in between accurate sections, it was awful lol. When it worked it was still significantly less useful than any other standard research service.

My previous employer rolled out TaxGPT, which would bury hallucinations in the middle of what looked like an accurate cite when I tried it out a few times. Even if it didn’t hallucinate, I couldn’t see how it was anything other than a less useful ripoff of RIA, BNA, etc.
