Please admire Buddy’s 🌈 tail in all its floofy glory. #FluffyFursday #TeamFloof #CatsofBluesky

A #ThrowbackThursday reminder of just how spectacular Buddy’s tail was. It was almost as big as another whole cat! 😸😸🦁🦁 #fluffyfursday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Buddy the much missed orange Maine Coon sitting on a brown sofa showing off his magnificent and legendary tail which was almost as long as his body and incredibly wide when floofed, making it pretty much as big as a regular cat! His tail dominates the foreground of the picture and he’s got it opened wide like a peacock…it’s fanned out with soft and silky orange fur which is laced with stripes of white fur before giving way to full orange at his back legs. Which we can’t see because of the tail! Buddy himself has soft floofy haunches and his head is lifted up looking off to the right of the shot. He has large ears that sit lower than Gizmo’s bat like structures but with the same fur lining and orange fur tips. A red striped cushion sits behind him on the back left.

Gizmo is wondering where his piano went, he could have sworn it was here a minute ago 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is on a cream coloured plinth on his cat tree. He’s lying with his head up and his two massive snow dipped paws spread out wide. It looks like he’s playing an invisible piano and is wondering why it’s not making a sound 😹😹 there are silver curtains closed behind Gizmo and a warm glow from lighting off camera.

Wishing you all a happy weekend! Please enjoy this #JellyBellyFriday offering from Gizmo to start it in style! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsofBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is upside down on a grey/silver/white rug. His head is on the left side of the picture. He’s looking up at the camera with green eyes while resting his snow dipped paws against a long box with short edges to the left of his head. The box has white crepe paper inside it. It actually looks like he’s either hugging the box or is about to pull it over his head 😹😹 The fur along his body is a mix of orange, dark orange and light orange, with a patch of brilliant snowy white fur on his chest.

That claw is a little bit too close for comfort…I should be getting danger money for this 😹😹

Happy #WhiskersWednesday! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
A head shot of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat looking right at the camera with a spark of curiosity. His green eyes are lit up with off camera lighting. His face is a blend of orange fur on the upper part with a white muzzle speckled with orange spots where long white whiskers take their leave from his face and extend off into the distance! He has dark orange tabby style markings on his forehead which look like they form the letter M. Large pointy ears with orange tips complete the look then we’ve got a white chest coat and reaching out towards the camera is a massive white paw which is showing off a large claw gripping on to the cream section of cat tree he’s lounging on. A fearsome weapon which happily he keeps sheathed 😹😹 Behind Gizmo is the top part of a large window where late evening daylight is still visible along with the outline of trees which have lost almost all of their summer leaves!

A very elegant and sphinx-like #KittyLoafMonday pose from Gizmo! Love it when he pretends to be all serious when he’s the exact opposite 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat lounging on a grey/silver throw on the back of the sofa it covers. He’s in loaf position - front legs and paws tucked away and a long, elegant form from front to back. His white chest fur sweeps down to meet the rug and makes a good spot to hide paws even when they’re as big as his! 😹😹 Gizmo’s white muzzle almost blends into the chest fur then it’s orange all the way, with dark orange tabby style markings and patches on his face and shoulders.

Floofy overlord is operating at maximum floof today 😹😹🦁🦁 #CatBoxSunday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
A close up picture looking up at Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat as he sits atop a large brown cardboard box. His massive snow dipped paws are hanging over the edge of the box - not only are they huge but they’re covered in the fluffiest white fur which extends far beyond the ends of his paws and poke out between the toe beans. Nature’s snow shoes! The white gives way to warm orange fur which is then itself swamped by Gizmo’s magnificent mane. And his lordship himself is gazing down upon us with curious green eyes much like an apex predator like himself would size up prey! His large pointy ears are alertly facing forward and his long white whiskers are in surveillance mode! Someone is in trouble! 😹😹

I’ve told Gizmo I can’t paint to save my life and in any event don’t have the easel, canvas or oil paints required to paint his portrait like a 17th century lord but apparently that’s not his problem and I’ve to “get on with it” 😹😹🦁🦁 #Caturday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is posing proudly on top of the highest plinth on his cream cat tree. He’s looking off to the left of the shot with the poise of someone sitting for an oil painting portrait to be done of them 😹😹 And it would be a cracking picture as he’s looking every inch the handsome MC that he is - stunning facial features like pointy ears with orange tips, gorgeous green eyes, long white whiskers and that classic MC jawline that’s cut from granite! The snowy white patch of fur on his chest is flowing downwards and his large snow dipped paws dangle playfully over the edge of the plinth. His back paws which have more white on them than the front are neatly packed to the right along with his large orange tail. Closed silver curtains behind Gizmo create a warm evening glow that brings out the very best in his beautiful orange fur.

Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is upside down on a grey/silver/white rug looking up at the camera with green eyes. He loves lying on his back and getting lots of belly rubs and brushing! His tummy is covered in soft and long creamy orange fur which blends in with the main orange coat on his back, sides and face. We can see his front legs with their dark orange tabby stripes and snow dipped paws. A black wire brush with a red patch on the handle is at the bottom right of the picture and to the left of Gizmo’s head is a bright blue cool pad.

November 2017 - territory disputes over beds were normally ended by neither brother giving an inch. Despite the 7 other beds and cat tree sitting empty 😹😹🦁🦁 #ThrowbackThursday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Buddy and Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cats squished into a brown cat bed which in all reality was a dog bed because regular cat ones weren’t big enough for one of them never mind two 😹😹 Buddy is on the right and Gizmo is on the left. They’re merged together in a whirlwind of long, soft and luxurious orange fur. A long floofy tail pops up on the left side and I think it’s Gizmo’s as it doesn’t fully cover the white radiator behind them like Buddy’s would!

With the sun already setting before 5pm, the dark nights are well and truly here in Scotland so Gizmo is making the most of it and snuggling up on mum’s lap all evening! All week! Till spring! 😸😸🦁🦁 #WhiskersWednesday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is a swirling mass of long silky fur as he relaxes on mum’s lap on the couch. His many layered fur makes for a deep and luxurious coat! He’s looking just off camera with long white whiskers coming from his white muzzle. Large pointy ears with orange tips listen out for any tell tale rustling of treats for supper.

A very up close picture of the right ear of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat. It’s huge and lined with cream coloured fur. The tip has a magnificent flourish of orange fur which almost looks like a flame! We’re behind and just to the side of Gizmo’s head which has soft orange fur and long straight white whiskers on display. In the background is the corner of a grey/silver/white rug on a dark wood floor.

Gizmo took one look outside and decided to take refuge in this box as Storm Boelo continues to bring high winds and rain! See the post underneath for his view of it! 🙀🙀🦁🦁 #catboxsunday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is sat in a brown cardboard box on a dark wood floor - we can only see his big old MC head poking about the rim of the box. Which is still a large portion of Gizmo on display 😹😹 He’s in here hiding from the stormy weather which is blowing the leaves away far too quickly for his liking.

Oh no! Gizilla is about to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of front pod 😹😹

Happy #Caturday everyone! #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
A shot from far away looking at Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat standing tall on his cream coloured cat tree. There are four pods attached to the tree at various heights and sides - his focus is the front one hanging high and supported by a wide pillar covered in rope. He’s standing diagonally with his back paws on a platform and front paws on top of the pillar as he looks over the pod. He’s like a floofy Godzilla towering over it! This picture gives a great sense of how long and tall Gizmo is - his head and shoulders are at least 18 inches above the top of the pillar which itself is about 24in high. And we’re not even counting the tail! As we look at his side the contrasting colours of his coat really stand out against the cream of the tree and the silver/grey wallpaper/curtains in the background. There are dark orange tabby markings on his shoulders and similar dark patches on his coat as we look down from there.

Have a great and safe weekend everyone, especially UK friends under storm warnings! Gizmo is ready for peak leaves blowing off the trees tomorrow 😹😹🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat is lying partially on his side on a grey/silver/white rug. We only see half of the lengthy lion but that’s still a fair old portion of cat! In the evening light his darker orange coat stands out against the lightness of his creamy orange belly floof. His snow dipped front paws are as bright as ever!

Buddy really was the most effortlessly handsome and cool little lion. I don’t think a fur out of place picture exists of him 🧡🧡🦁🦁 #ThrowbackThursday #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
Buddy the much missed orange Maine Coon cat relaxing majestically like the handsome lion he was. He’s looking stoically to the right of the picture with his left snow dipped paw handing over the edge of the bed he’s nestled in. The bed has red back and sides with a shiny grey/black front. The paw has snowy white floof spilling out from between unseen pads. Buddy himself has a long and silky luxurious orange coat - like his brother Gizmo he has a white patch of fur on his chest but Buddy’s mane is much bigger and floofier. His ears are large and pointy but Gizmo has the bigger model of those! Buddy also has the stunning orange tips on his. A perfect portrait of our beautiful boy 🧡🧡

Wondrous whiskers and a massive murder mitten! Just another #WhiskersWednesday for Gizmo! 😸😸🦁🦁 #teamfloof #CatsOfBluesky
A portrait shot of Gizmo the orange Maine Coon cat as he gazes at us with the look of a lion assessing prey 🙀🙀 He’s looking full on magnificent today with his long orange floofy coat complimented by a snowy white chest patch. His left paw is hanging over the edge of the brown cardboard box he’s holding court on. The paw is enormous and looks like it’s been dipped in snow as its white at the front end but orange from the middle. Gizmo’s green eyes are in piercing mode and his large pointy ears are facing front as he takes us (well me!) in and decides his next move. Long white whiskers flow from both sides of his muzzle. Behind him is a large patio window looking into the daylight of the back garden.
